It’s been blowing out for several weeks. We had twenty days of rain in February. The lakes are still muddy in every cove where creeks run.

very good and accurate website for all TVA impoundments
the commercial barge traffic is backing up all along the river due to high flows

Pickwick was back down to normal for this time of year Thursday when I was there. Was at 416.6 for a while which is as high as I have seen it in many years. This front is fast moving and won't cause too much of a problem. Fishing is good for a day or so then the water rises and then falls at a serious rate which really messes with the fish. I have lots and other things on my land up there that was brought in by the high water to clean up.

Rain and wind everyday hat I have been off work have not even been fishing since december. Weather has been shit. I am sure that it is high and muddy. I cross it on the way to work every morning and the buoys are at least visible right now.

Kentucky Lake is still 7’ over winter pool, 3-4 degrees colder than normal for this time of year (46 degrees) dirty, and TVA is running 400,000cfs through the dam. We’ve had about 2/3” of rain since midnight as I write this. Lots of boats out running around, but haven’t heard of much being caught.

The river below Chickamauga is muddy, high, and the current is wide open right now.

Very muddy in places where the water runs off the mountain or drainage areas. More rain coming this week, could be a challenge to fish. On the bright side, it will be warmer then last week. Temps should be in the upper 60's to lower 70's. I believe TVA will have the dams open and running water all day.

They are pumping water in as fast as they can and pulling it out as fast as they can.

Wilson Lake is very muddy and logs all over. About normal pool. But it is so windy with storm after storm coming through.

Watts Bar was bottomed out Saturday. Muddy, some stuff floating but not much. No current.

Ft Loudon was running hard. Almost full and plenty of current.

Predicting what the TVA will do between now and Classic time is about like predicting if a fart will stink or not.
