    Big O

Despite the cold front and that nasty wind, Me and my cousin caught lots of fish in the rim canal Sunday. I never would have thought the rim canal would be so good when the water is at 14.5

    Re: Big O (Largemouthlou)

Your exactly right. I think it was just the way the wind was blowing had them stacked in one spot. you could see where the two different water colors were mixing coming out of the cut mixing with the rim ditch water. But I'll be on the lake like everybody else if the wind is not blowing. I'll tell you later up there before the tourney, it's NOT a secret spot. Do you know if the 7 mile canal out of Moore Haven is clear? I'm fishing with someone who may want to check that area out but I've never been. See ya up there Lou, I'm going up Fri

    Re: Big O (Red Sled)

Last I have heard it is still over grown.. I'll be there for weigh in, lack of funds will keep me out of the T.. It is also a kids weekend for us..

Wish everyone fishing the best of luck and a safe T.. See yall at the scales.

What I meant by clear is can you run that canal out to the monkey box area? I've never seen it. Is it a "canal" or a "boat trail" that could possibly be choked up with vegetation?

Ya I'm just imagining the wind on the lake right now and my 17ft boat
Either way I've never been any further than Cochran's pass so it will all be new to me
