Wednesday Night "T"

....They are starting up again out of Crows Bluff ( White Hair Bridge, St Johns)...
05:30 to 08:30, it will go till 09:00pm when it stays light longer....$30.00 entry, pays three places .......Last night had 14 boats......1st place was two fish at 8.66lb ( me ) paid $160.00. Big Bass at 5.12 (also me) paid $140.00....Not bad for three hours fishin.....Come on out...<>rob<>..

Rob, what ramp do you guys go out of?? Is it Ed Stone Park, right there on the east side of the rt. 44 bridge? I looked at google airial map and didnt see a ramp in Crows Bluff?? Thanks!

Thanks Rob! So, that's every Wed. night, and it's an open tx?? Is it 30$ per boat, or per angler? As long as those Stalvey or Stavley (or however it's spelled) team isnt there, I might consider givin it a go sometime! Ramp is only about 25 mins from the house..

Stalvey don't come to your neck of the woods to fish. He does fish a Thurs eve tourney in Jacksonville at Whitey's Fish Camp. They usually have around 60 boats every week up there.

...You know Mick.....You Cant Win Every One. ...and besides if I was to win two in a row nobody would show up next week ...so I had to shake off a few big uns last night. ....first place was around 14lbs with BB at 5+lbs, 2nd around 11lb and 3rd around 9lb with 18 boats. 1st pl and BB paid almost $400.00 .........I was not among those three....Big difference from last week, where two fish took it all. ...Thats the St Johns...&lt;&gt;rob&lt;&gt;..

Rob, where you at the tourney tonight?? (May 9th) Me and Bill fished it, but we only saw Mark (who we met at the rally) with his purty white and gold Gambler.. If you were there, what boat is yours?? We were in the blue/lt.grey Astro.. You know, the dudes with no fish.. Was a pretty good turnout!! Glad to see some fish being waighed in! There are some fish in the river after all!! Were going to do some more river practicing, and give it another go here in a few weeks!

Who is that? They are good on the river for sure... They fished 2 of our St Johns divisionals this year and won them both...

Lee Stalvey is considered one of the best sigth fishermen on the St. Johns River north. Him and his partner Troy Ray have won 8 or 10 tourneys this year. After the Wolfson Children's hospital tourney is over, he won't be fishing until late Nov. when the spawn begins again.

He's good at findin em and catchin em.

Scott, just as Adam was sayin.. They're awesome sight fishermen.. I've never met Lee or Troy, but I've read alot about them on here and in the local papers.. When they fish the St.John's it's a decent bet they'll win..

Do you guys know Mr Eric Lewis? He not to bad either... I was lucky enough to get him to come fish with me in this http://crackerboys.net/Tournament%20Results.htm (chk West Toho) tournament and it turned out pretty good - - - he's still a river rat though :-)

I've heard of him too.. There's 3 or 4 teams of "rats" that kick some serious butt on "the river" pretty consistantly..
I'm still tryin to get my river "mouse" status..
