    Thanks

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone from the Florida chapter of the BBC for the fun and friendship. Most of you know I will be headed to Kansas in the morning to start my new job out at Fort Leavenworth. It's bittersweet. The money is good, but I hate to give up Florida living. I have already had a couple of offers from the KS BBC guys to get together plus my old club is right there in Leavenworth but I will miss you guys. I'll still visit the lounge though. Thanks again & tight lines to you all.

    Re: Thanks (Chef Fillet)

The good news for all of us is that if we ever want to fish Truman Lake, Stockton Lake, Lake of the Ozarks, Table Rock Lake on the Missouri side... or ANY of the lakes on the KS side.... we have an "in".

Bob... drive safe, and thanks for a great time with you and yuor family at Okeechobee. You did get the package, right?

    Re: Thanks (spetro)

Hey guys, I made the trip in about 20 hours. TN was a pretty but up and down the mountains towing the boat was a bear. I could have made it all in one shot, but I did 15 hours one day and 5 the next. Been here since last Thursday and already fished once on Sunday. Hooked up with an old frined and we went out and fished some flooded timber and caught them suspended in the trees. Caught about 35 between us, all fat little 3 pounders that I would have killed for at Okeechobee. Still looking for a house, but everything else is going well.

Hey, speaking of fat fish... ask Dennis about Banner Creek. It is a little small, but man, I wore my arm out there in KS reeling in fish after fish! It was a great day on the water. As I recall it was a little over an hour to the northwest of Leavenworth.

Glad you made it safely, buddy!
