Optimax Alarms but no beeps, just the light.

    Two separate issues:
On the 2000 225 Optimax (0T054331) the 4 Alarm indicator light shows the low oil light about 5 seconds after starting up. Stays on solid. NO BEEPS. No Guardian Mode kicks in. Just the light. Motor runs fine.
I had this issue on the other motor (see below) last year and the float was stuck on the oil tank (typical). I bypassed it until I could install a new tank, and just confirmed oil level frequently. Thinking maybe this one had failed similarly, I bypassed the float switch on the oil tank. No change at all.

On the 2006 225 Optimax (1B447039) the 4 Alarm indicator light shows High Temp. NO BEEPS. Comes on and stays on, even on the trailer after sitting for a week. It flickered a few times and even went out once or twice on the first run of the season last week.
New thermostats, impellers and poppet valves last season. Very little run time since (< 20 hrs). Motor runs fine.

These 4 alarm indicators were pretty worn out (could barely see through them, lights didn't work), so I replaced them with some clean used ones. That's when all of this started. They were a wire-for-wire match, plug and play.

    Any help is appreciated.
