    Val Monte Resort/Marina in Guntersville

Any opinions on this place as a motel? Rates are similar to Jameson Inn, etc.
Not sure about how the boat/trailer parking works there. thanks

This use to be Covenant Cove. We use to have the BBC Southern Rally there. Excellent place to stay. You can launch your boat at the marina, park your trailer beside the hotel parking lot and leave your boat in the water at the piers.

I've fished a BFL and a BWS tx out of there this spring and they have a nice set up. They have a single ramp but it is easy loading and unloading inside they're marina with plenty of docking and plenty of power supplies. They went out of the way to accomidate the anglers and they're families. I'll be staying there again for sure.
