    Ignition question

When I turn my key to on (not start) I hear the fuel pump start then stop. Will it be o.k to leave it in this position while I configure my I-Command gauge, Maybe 3-4 minutes ? Or will I fry something? Should I wait till I have water to it to configure? 07 115 E-TEC Thanks Tony Portland Or

Will not hurt anything, don't forget to turn it off when you are done.
