Places to stay at Pickwick Lake

Coming to Pickwick to fish BFL wildcard where is a good (clean) place to for the money.

Where is the tournament out of? If it's out of McFarland, there are a number of decent places in Florence, many of which have been built in the past year or two. There are two Hampton Inns, one just two blocks or so from McFarland and another less than four miles or so away, a Jameson Inn, a Holiday Inn Express, a Residence Inn by Marriott, Comfort Inn, Quality Inn and Comfort Suites. Of course, if money's no object, you can always stay at the Marriott Shoals Hotel and Spa near the Renaissance Tower.

I don't know much about accommodations in Muscle Shoals, Tuscumbia or Sheffield but I've been told that the Key West Inn and the Four Way Inn in Tuscumbia are pretty decent, too.

FWIW, I just found out today that Comfort Suites, the new motel between Ruby Tuesdays and Walmart, has dedicated parking for boats with electrical outlets.

Im staying at the brand new microtel in Tuscombia seems to be a great place and the rates are great too. $around $40 a night microwave and refigerator in the room as well!
