    fishing guntersville july 20-24th

ok, everything is just about set in stone. i'm planning on packing up the whole fam damily and going to guntersville july 20-24th. i've found a house to rent that is in grant off of honeycomb rd, just got to send in the deposit and contract paperwork.

this will be my first time to fish there. how is the fishing going to be at that time of year? this will be my first time on guntersville? what's the best areas to fish on the southern part of the lake? what do i need to watch out for, specialty items to bring, etc? i don't want to get 6 hours from home and realize that i should have brought something i didn't think i'd need.

Bring bug spray and a turkey net to keep the dang gnats and mosquitos off.

The bigger schools of fish should be out on the ledges in the deeper water. I'm terrible at that kind of fishing, so I stay in the grass and shallow. I'd still throw a buzzbait early in the morning (I like throwing it all day actually....lol). Then you can throw a big worm along the edges of the grass.

I'm sure others will have better things to do, but that's mine.
