Guntersville?

Hey guys, Iam going down to Guntersville the first week of Mach. This is the earliest we've made a trip down, what can we expect the fishing to be? Also looking for a house to rent mid-lake, anybody know of anything? Thanks!

If it's like normal cold wet and windy Today 36 degrees rain early then sleet and change to snow. Some real quality fish caught and some that got away. The Bfl was there 22 lbs to win on the boaters side, 18 and change on coangler side. I fished a club tourney not nearly as good weight wise but one of our anglers lost a 8 plus, a 6 at the net and 2 at around 5lbs. Me and my partner had several hookups that we didn't land but managed to squeek out a 2nd place finish. Good luck. Are you coming in for the ABA/BWS North AL. tourney or just pleasure fishing?

I'm going to be there the 11th-14th and the best place to stay is a little north. Creekstone Lodge is where i'm staying and i have been told that the fishing is better up there this time of year.

if you stay at creekstone, some have a attached garage and some don't. worth the extra!

also check weather for tornado/sever weather while there. not the sturdiest of places, but nice nonetheless.

Even if it's cold like yesterday . You can still catch a few . It was 38 , sleeting some , but caught one around 4 1/2. Had a few others that slipped the hook .

i fished thurs - saturday, fished the bfl on saturday.....on thursday my best 5 was 24-25lb....they were really eatin it too

im going down next week for 2 days, is the lake still high and muddy. also has the trap bite started yet?

it came up at least 2" from thurs to saturday....we launched saturday morning at goosepond and the bottom board was at least 6" from the water, at the weigh in the water didnt lack much from being over the dock

it had muddied up alot too
