looking for a bass club in north bama

me and my neighbor fished the tourney on wheeler every week last year, this year we looking for something that moves around abit from wheeler, guntersville ,wilson etc, any ideas , i dont want to fish the cut throat big stuff smaller scale, good people more of braggin rights then money etc, thanks

Well, there's the Fishers of Men trail. There are some good sticks in it. Fishes Pickwick, Wilson, Wheeler, and Guntersville. Then you have the B.A.I.T. trail, and a few others. You shouldn't have any trouble finding something to your liking. And you can actually fish a couple different trails since most only fish once a month.

We have a club in Hartselle that fishes Wheeler, Wilson, G'ville, Pickwick, Smith and occasionally Logan Martin and Neely Henry - http://www.HartselleBassmasters.com for more info.

Look into the BAIT tournaments. The division III is run by Danny Heard at Elk river tackle in rogersville. There is also a division out of Decatur ( but I have never fished that one). The championship is on Wheeler this coming year in Sept. so it might work out for you since you have fished wheeler so much.

i believe we gonna fish b.a.i.t this year, but the thought of fishing championsip on wheeler makes me throw up in my mouth abit, never met a lake that i hate more then wheeler lol
