    Guntersville for Veterans Day

My company is giving us the day off this Wednesday for Veterans Day, so me and a buddy are going to come down to the Big G. Will be launching out of Goose Pond. If anybody wants to help a brother out with some tips I'm all ears. Been there twice and have never done any good. Thanks for any advice.

By the way, thanks to all the veterans who keep our country safe through their sacrifices. I don't feel worthy to get a day off to go fishing since I didn't serve, but I'll take it and be grateful.

Guess we're on our own...hopefully all the rain today won't have the fish turned off too much...and maybe the wind will lay down some.

When i do get to go there, the wind and rain will be my best friend. The cold front may not help you.

It was tough for us today...only picked up 4 little guys. Tons of bait fish in the back of creeks and coves and fish busting them all over the place. The couple we caught came on lipless crankbaits and jerkbaits. Had one blow up on the frog on cast #3 and then nothing the rest of the day.
