    Elite Series on Wheeler

Hey Guys, Just checking to see if any of you are planning on attending the Elite Series on Wheeler next week. We will be there doing a few installs all week and possibly doing a little fishing. Let me know if any of you want to hook up.

Sorry to hijack, but wanted to ask while I'm thinking about it. Did you do any research on the led back-up lights? Love the deluxe package I got from you. I can actually see now.

Re: Elite Series on Wheeler (CRIMSONGAMBLER)

I was an active american superlite dealer for a while. I still am a dealer, but the most expensive thing they had were back-up lights. The white dragon back-up lamps retailed for $120 each. I learned that you get what youi pay for because I put a cheaper set on my own boat and they are horrible.

Mike I will be over there a couple days I am sure since it's couple miles from the house. We have the Cat's Meow for a BASS tourney site here in Decatur. They really got on board making a tourney friendly park here.

I can't wait, I always get to go to KY Lake but to get on a lake I have never been on will be a blast. Give me a shout down there.

Its going to be very interesting to see how the Pros do this weekend. The lake has come up and some of the creeks and small rivers are as muddy as I have seen in awhile. Lets see what TVA does with the water level and if we get some more heavy rains, its going to be interesting!!

Re: Elite Series on Wheeler (FISH TICK)

I am thinking the flipping bite is going to be very strong. I may go Monday after work and see how the river looks.... Hope the TVA rollercoaster with the water is over with. LOL but they still have till the 13th till Full pool.

You know several Elite's will pound them though regardless

I bet they hold the water, I don't know if the water is in the bushes yet but a jig, a big blade, and a trap should be the pattern.

If they are not using it the ramp beside Highway 31 bridge would be a good place to put in. Its about a 1/4 to 1/2 mile up river from where those guys are launching.

Don't forget about the down river bite this time of year also. Those fish are shallow right now and if the Elk clears up a little hold on. It took 20+ to win the Sportman's park T. two weeks ago. That's pretty strong for Elk only T.

There is a small ramp right beside Ingalls. Its the old ramp everyone used to use. I put in there last year to watch blast-off and all you have to do is put your trolling motor down and go around the point.

We are staying in Huntsville at the Courtyard Marriott. Had some points to burn up. We were told it was like 20 minutes from the ramp. Is that about right?

Have y'all made it down yet? Interested in seeing some of your lights installed. I'm having a battery issue right now. I hope to be on the water in the morning.

I want to come down there and ride around and watch. I have never done that. My sons first ball game is Saturday morning so if I get down there it will be for Sunday morning after I get off work. What time are they launching ?

Re: Elite Series on Wheeler (Stratos294HO)

Mike, It's all interstate from Huntsville to Decatur. Just stay on 565 and DO not get off on 65. 565 turns into hwy 20 takes you right into Decatur, hang a right after you cross the bridge and ramp is down a mile or 2 on the right. If you get lost or need anything while you are in Decatur give me a call, I live 5 minutes from the ramp. 256-566-6062

Nathan, Yeah I have done that several times. Weighs in are smooth at the new ramp. THink I am fishing Gville Thur but definetly probably Sunday on Wheeler. Will make the weigh in everyday possibly
