Im not at all happy with the hire or the way Jacobs went mediocore coaches,but has anyone stopped to think that Gill didnt get the job because he has no sec experience or Auburn ties and not because hes black and his wife is white.
Im not gonna judge Gene yet until I see the team play but he'll get destroyed by Saban

Mr. Barkley needs to be schooled....his comments are neither true nor appreciated....I'm sure Mr. Barleys comments will hold the same tone when he is defeated in his gubernatorial bid..........

Well, heres what Gill said so if he thinks it all worked out fine then why should someone else .....Barkley trying to be Jackson or Sharpton?

Turner Gill's reaction to the Buffalo News on whether he had a fair opportunity to get the Auburn or Syracuse jobs: "It's up for everybody's own opinion. I feel as if I had a sincere look. God has a plan and if he wanted me to be at those particular places he would have placed me there. I'm excited to be the head football coach here and we'll see how things work out."

While I was very surprised and slightly angry that Chizik got the job instead of some big name like we all expected, I am an Auburn fan, and will support him to give him a chance. Saban had a losing record when he came from the Dolphins to Bama, so lets give Chizik a chance. We may have to go lower than this year before we get built back up but we will return to the top sometime. Maybe this coach, maybe the next. Bama went through several coached before landing Saban.
