Nice fish from lake LU

Here's one caught sat morning at lake lu. Hit a flatmax at the boat, then went on a 5 foot tail walk, the guy with me doesnt fish much and he was excited :)

might go down next sat AM for about 4 hours before IRON BOWL! if weather is right.

we'll get together this year or in early spring for sure. It's a blast to watch those huge toads roll around in the shallows.

It's a small 60 acre lake in Livingston al. They have been really doing some good things to make it a big fish lake, it's full of 5-10 lb bass. Everytime you go you could catch a double digit bass.

you can use your own, just have to haul it to the lake, about 50 yards or so. They have about 14 boats to use. It's about 5 bucks or so to rent a boat and 3 to fish.

Nesxt time I go back to Meridia for class or I have some spare time I plan to go to Lake LU and maybe Dreamlake.

Dreamlake is awesome, but it's not cheap, they do have nice boats to fish out of

But, I'll pick Lake Lu anytime over dreamlake, I wont catch as many, but I feel I have a better chance of a double digit fish there,
here's my biggest jig fish, caught last sat, the 29th, weighted little over 8 and 23inches long. sorry for the pic, hard to take one by yourself :)
