I went crappie fishing sat. didn,t fish the tourn. There were a lot of boats running around looking for beds while I was there. By the way the crappie fishing was crappy for me only 4 fish.
Everything's slowed down a little on Wilson, too - well, for me at least. I went out for a couple of hours yesterday and managed to catch a few on tapering points in 12 - 15 feet of water with Carolina rigs and crankbaits. It looks like the spawn is pretty much over here and post-spawn fish have always been really difficult for me to catch. The shad are spawning in a bunch of areas up in Shoal Creek but I can't even catch anything fishing there, either.
