SOAL tackled the rainy weather and finiky bass of Lake Martin Saturday with a small army of four boats. Congratulations to Allen and Tony for taking first place along with big fish honors. We appreciate yall driving from Georgia to party with us.Also you guys that backed out....Allen has the money to cover those bounced checks

I think we had 9lb 6oz. but I could be wrong. And I think our big fish was 2-8. We caught about 15 keeps so size was not there. Personally I love Martin. It's such a beautiful lake to fish even in a monsoon. We caught 2 fish on sb's, about 6 on a salt water chug bug that Tony bought because of the chartreuse in it, several on cr's with 5 inch green pumpkin lizards, and a few on spotstickers. All fish were less than 10' deep and the last 2 fish on the chug bug bit about 1/2 hour before weigh in.
