    Help on Pickwick????

I am going to try to make a trip down the last of March to Pickwick for the first time. What can I expect? I understand the water down their is almost always stained/muddy. What would be my best option for SM then? I guess most will be transitioning from the spawn?

    Thanks

Yep, they LIED unless you are in Bear Creek. There are some places in Bear Creek where the clay turns the water muddy. Otherwise, most of the lake that I have been on has 2-3' visibility and sometimes more.

Good I was worried with the stained water. That is what I was told, he had only been their once so not much familiarity. What lure's do all like that time of year? jerkbaits?

I usually fish Dale and other NE Tn. lakes. I am going to try and get my timing right maybe and get down later to see 1 of my former players at Auburn during spring ball.
