Had a small little wild cat tourney on mitchell today.

Group of us local boys got together today and fish a short little tourney. 6:00- 11:00. We only had 5 boats but we had a good time. I didn't write the weights down but I think was close to this:

13lbs 10oz
13lbs 4oz
11lbs 12oz That was me and dad
10lbs 4oz
0lbs 0oz

We caught ours on spinner bait. someone else was catching them on a large grub and jig head. Not sure what everyone else was catching them on but I think it was a little bit of everything. It slacked off pretty good after 9:00 though.

That place sure was crowded again today. I think we need to get Avery back down here so we can have the lake to ourselves.

You should've been at Guntersville with us today, Jason. I don't recall ever seeing that few boats there!

I know Avery. I have to limit my self a little on those 3 hour trips. Looks like I'm probably gonna have to be making one in april to Eufaula. Besides that, I've been in my boat on gunterville before and it an't fun.

You really need to hit up eittocs1 (scottie hayes) to fish the BBC Tourney up there some time. He lives in SoAl country but his brother lives on guntersville and they fish it some together.
