Hey, you guys that have a keel guard added to your boats. How is it holding up? My dealer was not sure it would hold up on the alluminum boats. Have you had any problems and what size would you put on an x19?

I put a 7' on my boat but if I did it again it would be an 8 and I would go closer up to the eye than I did (about 6 inches closer, which would give me 6 on the tail end as well). Mine is holding up great. With all the research I did, I would go with a Keel Shield. According to my dealer it's guaranteed on an Alum boat as long as it's applied correctly.
I just did an 8' on mine last week. Just follow the instructions and CLEAN it well.
