    Loc N Haul on merc/triton?

The boat i just bought has this instead of your normal transom saver. The previous owner told me that Merc doesn't recommend it but he has used it the for a couple of years now with no problems. I'm sort of worried and ws thinking about going back to to the old school way. What do you guys think? If I do go back to the transom saver type, which one should I go with?

Lock-n-Haul is the only thing you will ever need. Not sure what a Loc-n-stow is.

The lock and haul is one of the best. The old style transom savers did more harm than good.

I've used a Lock-N-Stow on my Triton/Mercury for 6 years. Lock-N-Haul, Lock-N-Stow, or a Motor Mate are all superior to a traditional transom saver.

I'm ordering a Motor Mate for the new boat as soon as I find a sponsor who carries one.

I've never heard of a story that Mercury doesn't recommend these Lock-N-Haul's.

The previous owner told me about it. His close fried is a mechanic for merc so I'd imagine that was where he got his info.

Yeah, just seems odd that Mercury would discourage it.
