    tr-19 vs. 19se

Hey guys Im looking to get a new boat sometime this summer and was looking to hear from dealers and guys who are running these boats. I really like the looks of the 19se and that i can get a 225 on it but the tr-19 seems to be a hell of a deal. what hulls are they using for the tr-19? It looks like the 04-06 hull maybe... im looking for a honest opinion about both and maybe numbers from guys or girls who have run them. Thanks!!

    Re: tr-19 vs. 19se (Kight21X)

I had a 196 and hated how it handles water, so I went to the x2 and like it much better. drives better, but isn't as fast as the hp hull. But going from a 196 with a 200 to a 19se and a 225, the se will be faster and drive better. i believe it's 20'2" compared to 19'6". I like the new top cap of the 19se as well compared to the 19x2,3.

The only 19 footers right now are the 19XS and 19SE.
Triton did offer a Tr19 Pro a couple of years back that used the 196 hull and it was/is a quick boat but required driver input.
The 19SE is a lot of bang for your buck.

Snow is correct, the TR19 is no longer made. The 19SE and 19XS replaced the TR19. The new 19 has larger casting decks, new console, new deck, new hull and handles rough water better. I ran a 19XS last year and really enjoyed the boat.

Yep, I have the Tr-19 and it sucks in rough water , wants to "take off" rather than cut the water..
