I saw that in the lounge. i dont understand how they expect people to afford that. My rule of thumb is I'll never pay more thousands than the boats top speed. Example : 68mph = no more than$68,000 therefore Ranger should always be cheaper than Triton

Re: Ranger is proud of their Product....Part Two. (200xp)

....I don't know why they make them post the MSRP, but I'm sure that's Rangers call, not the dealership....I guess when you drive off the lot with it for $60k you are a happy camper!!

Ya, just re-read it....they put: "NOTE: The above price is a M.S.R.P. and the the boat can be purchased for less than this price" as the first sentence.....

    That's RIDICULOUS!!!!
I would just post the boat up for sale as new without pricing before I did that...

    Crazy stupid imo

Dealers can only post MSRP. Clark Marine and Jetta Marine are two different dealerships and have seperate owners.

First off that is a NO NO from Ranger, a dealer is not suppost to put any pricing on a new current model boat over the internet or any other way of advertisement in a paper or book. You can post retail prices at shows or in your show room though. That is defintely against the rules, besides Ranger does not have a MSRP price, that is made up by the dealer not Ranger. Again, we just got done with a boat show in Murray and had a rig setting there just like that one with the same options and it was no where close to 82 grand. I can;t say over the internet but it was a hell of a lot less than 82 grand for sure.

Heck you can buy 4 gently used Tritons for that and use a different one every weekend.

I thought my next boat would be a new one but all of the companies have priced me out of that. Oh well ill keep selling mine adding 5-8 grand and paying cash every four years. I can rebuild a lot of blown motors with the difference

All right hear is the simple rule to Rangers pricing....... you pay by what payload it can handle. 1 ton = 1K$ so this boat can haul 82 tons.......heance the barge reference!

quote"they do not look like they belong on a 65K dollar boat, is it possible that they put the cheaper latches that may go on a entry level boat on my Elite package boat ? quote"

Doesn't look like they give away the Triton's either at 65 grand, for just a little bit more you could have the best and the little bit more is not 82 grand either I could buy 5 new Kia Rio for 82 grand and have one to drive every day of the week back and forth to work

My 2003 TR20 with a 225 EFI cost me 14500 and I was crying at that but it is an awesome boat so they can take their over priced boats and uh um it.....

How much profit is in 82,000 dollars something like 62,000? what a sales commission
