I'm looking at getting back into a Stroker. I found one I like except for the single axle trailer. What are my options? Can you add an axle? How much does a tandem cost? How much is a used single worth (w/ brakes)? Is anyone looking for a trailer?

Is it a Boatmate trailer? The cost to add a second axle is cost prohibitive. IMO, you may be able to find someone who wants to swap with you and some $.
The singles are easier to maneuver around in a garage. Some Stroker owner may have a tight storage area.
Call Jerry at Boatmate for the current tandem pricing.
I wouldn't avoid buying the boat just because of the trailer, if it is what you want and in good shape.

Yes, it's a Boatmate....and trust me, the trailer will not have any bearing on my decision to buy. I just don't like single axle trailers.....especially for the long hauls I make. IÂm heading to Table Rock in June.
I will call Jerry and get some pricing.
If I get the boat, I will be looking to do something quick, so anyone looking for a single axle please start thinking about it.
