Can a extended warranty be purchased beyond 5 years B.E.S.T??
I got the 2 yr. extended warranty/service contract with my new 250HO, nothing else was offered at time of purchase. It is highly unlikely that there was any other plan at the time from BRP. And even the extra 2 yrs. is a factory BACKED program thru FPC.
I did buy an extended service agreement for my 04 225HO just prior to the expiration of the original 3 yr. factory warranty. It is for 3 yrs and covers everything on my rig, everything, subject to a $25 deductible. It is thru a co. that FPC steered me to.
Garfish: Do you have a number for FPC Customer Service. I'd like to look into extending my warranty before it runs out.

BRP warranty is 3 years plus 2 years thru FPC = 5 years. Can additional warranty be purchased past 5 years??
Miguel, I contacted my selling dealer and he gave me the option of going through him to get the FPC or go direct. I chose direct and wound up with 4 quotes from different co's. one of which was Geico. I looked over all the offers and chose the "fishermans package" which covers not just the motor but everything in or on the boat, subject to a $25 deductible. THE key to this extended 'service agreement' is, WILL my dealer work with this company for what THEY want to pay to fix something? And for this reason if I had it to do over I would go thru my dealer because he is promoting it and I think would be more co-operative. Now that is not to say I had any trouble with the dealer because I never presented them with a warranty claim. I have a new 250HO and still have the 225HO ( now repaired by BRP at no cost to me) and I understand my 3 yr.service contract is fully transferrable to any new owner.
