Fished a tourney Sat, and had to make a 7 mile run back to trailer...winds were blowing 30/40 mph out of Northwest...absolutely scary..never been in anything like that..period...30 mph with the nose down..NASTY..when I got to the ramp, my battery bracket which is 2 inch 7075 aircraft grade alum....was broke in half...my jackplate pump was laying on its side in back of boat...cover plate on stereo is gone...my partner said " you know I dont know Chub and Alice, but if I saw them both I would hug them" this boat took an all out beating...but got us back safely, My hats off to Chub..these are well built boats...contrary to some of the stories you hear on other sites
