rob, setting up boats like these are alot of fun, but when we take the knowledge that we have learned from years of racing and apply it to a bass boat then we are labeled liars The fast bass boat community in general has their heros and when a group of guy's they have never heard of are going fast i quess it just knocks them off their high horse and all they can do is sit at home and punch a keyboard playing the b.s. card. Like i told my buddies the other day you can post all the footage that you want but your still going to fill up a thread with the crybabies saying it cant be true.
I like the fact that Mitch and I have xb2002 with a stock 200 2.5 powerhead, it fastest so far is 102. we go to these rally's and out run joe blow with a hot 260 on a allison and then the stories fly about it is impossible that is a 200. The most impessive guy that I have met is Kirk with the stroker, i can be running 100 and love wathing that big beast come by me with him grinning. Then we all go back to the dock and sit around shooting the bull about boats and not all of this childish ying-yang.
My final note, we have raced stock engine classes the entire time that we have raced, what you guy's can't understand is by doing that you are forced to concentrate on strictly BOAT SET-UP and PROPELLERS. Props are like a woman, who ever figures that one out will be crowned king, and for those of you who just can't get it, propellors are the reason you can give your calculator to your grandma to to use to figure her bingo winning's. Quit punching numbers and go work on your boat! jeff naul
