Going from Ranger plug four wire to two wires?

When looking at the back of the plug that the wires connect to which two post do you use? I converted to two wires using the standard Ranger plug. However I seem to have a parasitic draw on the system now when not in use. Can the plug be wires incorrect causing this but still work otherwise?

You aren’t going to get any parasitic draw with normal boat wiring and no way to mis-wireto cause it

What makes you think there is a draw?

Dead batteries after sitting for a week after full charge. Trolling motor not plugged in during this time. Only seemed to happen after I converted from four wires to two and went to a 36v system at the same time.

Unless something else is connected to the TM batteries, it would have to be a battery. Maybe an issue with a jump start system and incorrect wiring? Some were miswired when new.
