    Look what I found.... Old School

    I found an old school 285 and couldn't pass it up. I always loved this style. Going to make a few improvements to it and hope to have it out soon. 1989 285 PRO with 1995 175 Intruder.

    The boat loks good . The seats a littler rough but for the years the boat looks good . I have a 1988 201 pro thats looks just like it but red and silver just cant same to get rid of it ? Good find want be the fast boat on the lake but it will ride as good as a new one enough in rough water , build for the ride ?

    Thanks, I've had this model before. I'm having the seats done, and adding new electronics, charger, etc. One of the best rides they made. IMO

    that boat looks like it was really taken care of. Most of the ones I find like that
    the gel coat is bad. What did you give for it?

    Nice find Jason. That baby will clean up nice, I recently redid a silver and red one and it looked new when I was finished!!!!

    Thats a good looking rig. Mine is a 1989 201 Pro DC and love it very good ride.

    Got X-17 for console and new 3 bank Minnkota charger to install soon. Getting engine serviced now. Seats will be sent to seat lady soon.

    My first real bassboat was a 1987 Stratos 181 Pro / Merc 150 XR2.
    Loved it!
    Bought it brand new off the showroom floor.
    $14,499!!!!!
    Ran it for 7 yrs.
    Those late 80 Stratos's were the cream back then!
