    ENGINE SHUTS DOWN

I have a 95 Evinrude 150 Intruder, Loop Charged w/ the 2000 OIS . This past season I started having problems with it shutting down while trying to get on plane or just as I get on plane. It then takes a few minutes to restart and then it runs fine the rest of the day. The engine runs great all the time at lower rpm's, it's just when I try to get on plane that this happens. I have tried getting on plane with the engine cold as well as after idling around for 15-20 min. and it doesn't change a thing. It seems electrical to me because it quite so fast. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Replace the power pack and the optical sensor "eye".

Mine did this exact thing it was almost like I hit the kill switch ~4000RPMs. A new power pack fix it. As a bonous the motor starts and idles much better now.
