    Help with 201/250HPDI set up

I was wondering if you could help me with my set up. I have a 05 Stratos 201 with a 04 Yamaha 250HPDI with an 8” manual jackplate currently running a used 27 T-1 prop. Prop is set 2.7 inches below pad. Yesterday I ran with a full tank of fuel and tourney load with one person in the boat 72.8 GPS @ 6000 RPM. Water temp 90 and water psi 10. Rooster tail behind boat was about 6-10 feet above the motor. Is this about all I can expect from this combo? Thanks.

Lots of prop slip, IMO you need a prop clean up probably and put some cup back in that prop. I would bet its nicked up and dull on the tips and not a whole lot of bow lift. Setup sounds ok.

Rooster tail is a bit high...might try not trimming so high but what the previous poster said is your best bet.
