1st real run with the new to me boat here are my #'s

ok guys after buying the boat in the winter and installing all the stuff i wanted to i took the boat to a lake for the first real run with a workin tach and gps..

03 stratos 200 pro evinrude 200 di ficht
the air temp was around 41 degrees
jack plate was 3 in below rpm 5900 (which is too much), water pressure was frozen.. speed was about 67.8

i went to put the raker 26 on to see what it would do but after having the prop refinished i put it on and it is not perfectly round so it rubs...wtf i would think that the would have noticed that when repairing it. i am bringing back to get fixed

that being said i know the conditions were not perfect the rpm def need to come down should i adjust the jp or just put the 26p on or both??? i expected a little faster but ..

Pretty good speed With gas prices the way they are, half throttle will be plenty most of the time this year

Take the prop off, rotate the prop, then slide back on the hub, then tighten down. Spin to see if it rubs. If the prop doesn't rub and as long as the prop shaft is straight/true, you should be fine.

Make sure you get the water pressure gauge fixed before you start messing with it too much. Don't want to burn it up.
