I should have posted this a while ago, but overlooked it.
I took delivery of a 2011 186XT with a 115 Optimax back in August. It took awhile to get the deal straightened out due to the reorganization with Ranger.
Anyhow.... the motor came with a 23P prop and the RPM's weren't where they should be. My dealer said he would try to find a 21P for me to try, but as he is 5 hours away, I decided to see what Stratos would do, or if they would just refer me back to the dealer.
I sent the tech staff my info; speed, weight, RPM's, etc. They sent me out a new 21P and I had it in two days! I tried it and it was dead-on! I had offered to send the 23P back as it was unmarked; they told me they were happy that the motor was working good, and to keep the old prop as a spare.
You can't ask for more than that!
