jack plate and prop size

I have a 1996 javelin 400 se I got a 1999 225 ho carburetor motor. I am running 26raker prop at 5950 rpm gets out of the hole fine. I have a six inch jack plate and was wondering if I went to a eight jack plate and a 27raker prop would this hurt my set up on my top end or blast off does anyone have a set close. Boat is in good shape transom will handle a eight inch or a two inch spacer

I'd test a 27 tempest plus or Marks new 27 Razor3
