Install tips of a LSS-1 on a Stratos 201

Anyone install a LSS-1 transducer and network module in their Stratos? Any tips, do's and don'ts or maybe install locations for either piece?

I have a 98 201. I made a quick bracket to mount to the jack plate seems to work good. I'll probably do something a little different when I get some more time. I mounted the controll box under the drivers console to stay out of the weather but also wanted it to be able to get some ventilation. I can veiw Structure Scan on both of my HDS 7's. Really wasn't that hard to install. I did run a seperate power and ground from my battery, I was having trouble with the units restarting everytime I cranked the boat.

transducer shield and saver makes a nice bracket for your jackplate.. I installed the lss unit in the starboard rod locker of my 201(on the back wall, opposite side of cockpit wall)..

That's who I bought mine from. They make a top knotch product with NO corners cut.

I have a TH Hydrojacker and didn't see anything on there that would work. I sent them and email to see what they suggest. I have their saver for my TM ducer and won't ever need to replace another ducer with that product. It's awesome.

I have the same jackplate. Had to drill 2 holes to mount it up. The last time i was on there website I didnt see the one for the LSS.. Had to call them an order.. Also you can search on here to see it..
