Bucket Seat Replacement Question

I have a 2004 295 ProXL and want to replace the bucket seats. I am looking at the seats in the pic but do not know if they will fit, mainly the overhang part to the back deck. All I know about the seats is they are for a 200/201 XL and are made by Crane Interiors, the Part # is 07U011. I called Crane and they say they have no drawings with dimensional data available.

Does anyone have any knowlege of these seats?

i have these in my 2005 285 Pro XL and it is a perfect fit except you loose the centre seat.

Ian: Thanks for the reply. Losing the center seat is not an issue, I have removed mine anyway and put a stepup box in. Looks like the front side will not be an issue. It's not obvious on yours if you have the overhang on the top of the seat that rests on the back deck. You can see that overhang section on the pic I have in my first post (the section on the back side top with the hole).

I might be wrong but i think those are the seats for the evolution. I dont think it will work.

The 201 or the 294 Evo?

Sorry for all the questions but the only Stratos dealer I have local doesn't carry any boats in stock so I have nothing to go look at.

Someone out there with a 294 Evo should be able to help?

I thought the 295/195/294 were basically the same, just the way they are rigged and the 294 has drop-in boxes in the rear, a single livewell and one large compartment in the front instead of two, none of that has any bearing on the cockpit area that I know of.

Then I thought the 294 Evo was the same as the 294 just with a fancier dashboard and a few other trim pieces, but same basic hull and top cap. I could be wrong, never seen one in person.

My 08' 294 is not an EVO, but they are the same! Same seats! I can measure from the seat pan to the rear deck this evening and IM you the dimension.

be careful with those seats they rip very easy at the stratos embroidery!!!!! i have those seats in my 2008 200 xl and they are tore all to hell!!!!

Measurement from the base corner of the seat to the top of the rear deck is 14". There is a angle between the seat back and seat back. From the top of that angle to the top of the rear deck is 11 1/2". If you need any other measurements on the seats let me know.

Got excited that someone was giving me measurements then to hear some not so good news on the next post.

I would agree. When I sit down in the seat, I place my hand on the upper right shoulder of the seat (on the stratos logo). Then slide into the seat. My seat has started to sperate at the logo stiching, about an inch long.

But besides that they are comfortable and look pretty good.

I believe they made them for the 200, 201, 285 & 294 also. I had a customer with a 2005 294 that came in and got a set for his boat. They fit great and looked really great as well. If I remember correctly, the measurement from the base to the lip that goes over the back deck is ~ 12 3/4". We have some in stock of 2 tone grey, grey and royal blue and grey and red. If you are interested, give me a call.

If you lay a straight edge across the rear deck and extend it next to the seat and measure perpendicular to the seat bottom, the measurement ends up at 12 1/4".

What is the overall width of your seats, looking at them from the front?
