    Trailer super rust

I noticed today as I left the lake the pass side fender had the rear inner well popped out towards the boat. -the smooth "board" that goes behind the wheels) On further inspection I saw all the hardware attached ... a 3/4" area rusted through and broke off and it appears both fenders are eaten up w/ rust. I know they are bad about rust getting under the diamond plate, but this is fully through the metal....and I am in ATL.... No sand, snow and road salt.
What the heck can I do?
    Its an '06 btw,

I would think you could remove them and replace them with Stainless fenders. Or replace them with steel and put tuff coat on them.

Neither is an easy option but the fixes should last a LONG time. Keep us posted on the fix.

If you can afford it, replace them with SS ones. It will cost around $400 though. It is not too difficult to do. Even though your trailer is 4 yrs old, I would give Stratos a call and see if they will help you out. The worst they can say is NO!

Get rid of it and buy a galvanized trailer, no matter what you do you will not be able to keep up with the rust. Believe me, been there and done that. I love Stratos boats the the trailers are pure rust buckets...junk.

1-800-724-7273 Ranger now takes orders on Stratos parts. Total for fenders Tandem axle was $640.00 includes shipping. They look great and I had them in a week.

    Hey Stratos21,

When you get a chance, would you post a picture? I would love to see them. The tandem fenders on my 200 are developing rust bubbles under the paint so eventually I will have to consider replacement. Thanks!
