Ordered Flow-Rite stuff for Pump Out install.

Boat didn't come with it and I've been wanting to do this since I got the boat and finally pulled the plug. $142 shipped worth of valves, hose, cable, thru hull fittings, and controls and I think I have whats needed to do the job. I'll post up some pics when it completed.

Sure hope the weather starts cooling off so I can get into it without passing out!

Just curious here. I have a Stratos Magnum 21XL with the Auto/Empty/Recir Flow-Rite system and wondering what your upgrade does compared to my set up? Thanks for any help/clarification.

I'm kinda wondering too, I have the same Auto/Empty/Recir. From what I've been told trhe pump out kit just pumps the water out of the livewells through the bilge hoses but doesnt add or change any of the other options or settings but would like to know for sure.

My boat only has the pump in and recirculate. So I'm adding a valve in each recirculate system to be able to pump out the live wells instead of having to wait till I'm on the trailer to gravity drain them.

Nope, it is an awesome kit and eeasy to install, I did both my livewells for under $75. All if does is replace your aerator heads, add one thru hull fitting per live well and hose to connect them. The system uses your aerator pumps to push the water out of your live wells without opening the valve on the bottom of your boat. It is great for filling wieght bags without having to dunk them or crawl under your boat. You do have to drill a hole for the thru-hull fiitting. But I did both mine in under 30 minutes and it look like it came that way. The aerator heads are the key, when you have these pushed in they act like normal aerators. But, when you pull them in it diverts the water from you pump back out the hose and out thru your thr-hull fittings. Super easy and way nice for tourney fishing.

I was going to do that but my inlet heads are mounted pointing up so I have to use a external 3-way valve to do the same thing. Just not room in the well to pull them up when mounted. I sure wanted to use the easy and more affordable pull valves but it was not to be.

I did it on another boat I had too. I took the old aerators out, put in livewell lights to seal the old holes and relocated my aerator heads to a diffrent spot.

Here is link to light I used. You just have to make sure the light seals the same size hole that your old aeraotr came out of.

Now THAT is a good idea. Thanks for that!

Even though I have the other stuff ordered already, I don't mind having the extra valves.
