Congrats on the new rig. Both look great but that big one will be nice to fish out of. I love the room on my deck.

My neighbor, Mike bought your Javelin. I found it listed and sent him the link. He and his sons are very excited about there "New to Them Javelin". You took very good care of it, a real nice boat. Thanks to you for all the fishing tackle that you threw in. It is better than Christmas for Mike's oldest son Trevor.

Two nice boats. I really loved my 400TE. That 389 is awesome and I am sure that 21X will be great too.

Re: no longer a javelin man (dkerleyjr)

mike seems like a really good guy and i was more than haapy to give the boys all the tackle. it was sitting around and im sure they will have a good time with it. i hope mike gets as many years of fun and good times as i had in it. i really tried to take good care of the javelin its a fine ride. i didnt think it would happen but my wife cryed when i told her it was gone. but my new humminbird 898 si should help ease the pain

Re: no longer a javelin man (jav389)

I know how it feels. I sold my Javelin 3 years ago, when I did not have time to fish, but now the boat bug is hitting me again. I kept my boat (A 379) for ten years with no mechanical problems out of the fast strike, and it looked new when I sold it.My wife was like yours when I sold it, it was like a member of our family. I saw the boat last week, and it brought tears to my eyes to see how it has been mistreated with it's new owner. Half of the skeg is missing off of the lower unit and the hull looks like it has not been cleaned or waxed since I sold it.But any way congratulations on the triton, and congratulations to the javelin's new owner, they are both fine looking rigs. Take care.
