got a really nice custom stratos cover with my new boat but its not super waterproof. it seems to absorb most of the water when it rains. is there a way to waterproof it so it runs off it more than absorbs it?

BPS sells some that works good. It takes about 1 1/2 gallons to do the cover on my 201...........It costs about $38 gallon

Does it go thru the cover?
It soaks into the cover. I would NOT put it on while the cover is on the boat. I stretched mine out on the driveway and put it on with a sponge, trying to rub it into the seams. It has a strong smell, almost like paint thinner. The cover needs to dry completely before you put it back on the boat. It took two days for mine to air dry. You could put it on with a sprayer, but some of it it tends to run off before it soaks in. That is why I used a sponge.

Use the first one on older covers (like older than 4-5 years old). Use the second for newer covers.
The gallon will treat the cover twice and the bottle of 303 will treat the cover once.
Thanks Brian
