    Lock N' Stow

What has happened to all of the postings on the Lock N' Stow ? I have not seen any posting on the new Bombardia models.

    Re: Lock N' Stow (Z21ROD)

I have had mine for a few months now and have had no problems yet. I can tell you it does not turn either way after 3 hours on the road. I still have the BRP bracket in place and I even carry a standard trailer bracket in the truck too.

    Re: Lock N' Stow (z20ranger07)

I cannot find the Lock N' Stow for an Evinrude motor. Can someone point me in the right direction. I notice the 'My Wedge' transom saver is about 1/2 the cost and can be ordered direct. Anybody with a comparison of Lock 'n Stow vs My Wedge?

    Thank

    Re: Lock N' Stow (LikeToFish)

I bought a My-Wedge and did not like it after the first use. My Etec turned with it and the rubber end was bending after the second use. I'm sure it's a good product, just not for my needs. I bought my Lock n Stow from a website called iboats. John, I sent you an IM. Contact me if you need any more info.

See if either of these will work.

I have been using the M-ywedge centering clips for over a year and have had no problems.

    Brian,
Just curious ho far apart in time those 2 photos were taken? I noticed in #2 you have added an E-Ladder . I added one to my boat and like it very much but it tends to rattle so I had to add a piece of tie wrap just to quiet it down.

    Re: Lock N' Stow (ChampioNman)

I bought My-Wedge and the centering clips earlier in the fall. I didn't notice any problem with either product during the short time, about 20 hours of travel time, I used them in the fall. I guess I'll find out next spring how well the My-Wedge product will hold up. For what it is worth I'm using the My-Wedge to support my 225 HO ETEC on the transom of my Ranger 619 without a jackplate. I couldn't find the Lock N' Stow for my application, so I went with My-Wedge.

BPS has them for $66.99. I got one this year because my motor kept turning, while trailering. No more movenent. Easy to use and compact for easy storage. Having used several Swivel-Eze products, I'd highly recommend this one. Bob

    Re: Lock N' Stow (vtbass)

    vtbass,

When I look at the Bass Pro website all I can find is the Lock N' Stow for Merc products. I found the same to be true at the Cabela's located several miles from my home. Will the Merc Lock N' Stow work on the Etec?

    Thanks

I would say no. The ETEC version is different (trim area). Send me an email if you need a picture: z20ranger07@aol.com

    Re: Lock N' Stow (ChampioNman)

    ChampioNman,

I took the pictures one week apart. I have not heard mine rattle yet while in the water or running down the lake. I may need another E Ladder soon. I'm looking at "adding to my fleet". I may get a Ranger Banshee Extreme or 173 Ghost so I can fish around Tampa Bay. Our lakes are so dry, my Z20 may have to sit until we get some rain.

    Re: Lock N' Stow (z20ranger07)

    Brian,

Thanks for the response. I hold off on the photo for now. By the way I noticed earlier today that you sent me an IM when I asked a question to the board back in September. I apologize for not responding. I'm not sure how to retrieve IM.
