My boat is a Stratos 288, with a 175 Evenroude Thick. With a 26 raker2, can't come out of the hole.... Seems like motor is laboring to hard to get out of hole. Currently running a 24 raker and i'm over taxing it.....

What is considered over taxing to you? The 24 is the one you need.

Mike, Ghost52 wanted me to post this for him. He's away. His 96- 288 startos, 2000 fich. 26 Raker, 5,600 rpm @ 65gps, 24 Raker, 6000rpm @ 66gps, 26 RakerII 5,700rpm not sure speed, chine walk bad!
Wow, He's doing great with the speed/175. I would have Mark drill pvs holes in the 26 raker. He will be able to dial in the holeshot.Or have Masrk pitch the 24 raker to a 25 and drill pvs holes.
