Finally time for new batteries and the ones that came in my boat were 27 Trojans...great batteries and they lasted four years. Does anyone know if the tray they used in the 05's will hold a 29 series battery? Looks like it has enough room.

I had 27s in my 04 and had to replace the trays when i upgraded to 29s.

Just measure them... Compare to a new battery... Keep in mind that most dealers will install the batteries... So you never may know what size trays is standard... They may install them as wel to match the batteries....

Called a local Trojan Battery dealer the other day and left a message for him to call me on prices. Never got a call back..business must be pretty good. Guess I'll buy another brand
