1988 pro 181... On the bow panel I have a toggle switch that says charge/run what is it for? Does it have something to do with the T Motor?
thanks![]()

The old way of charging a 24V system. If you have the bucks get yourself an onboard charger such as Dual Pro etc.. You will wonder how you ever lived without one.![]()
I think it has something to do with charging the TM batts thru the TM receptacle, hence the charge/run. Somebody else will know for sure. Most boats now have built-in chargers and there's no need for this setup again.

Yep back in the day we used to wire a TM plug onto our charger, unplug the TM and plug the charger in right there so you could charge both batteries with one charger. It was a PITA to carry a few chargers, cords, and something to cover them with in case it rained back in "the good old days"![]()
Ok so I can ignore that switch... Thanks I have a 3 bank charger onboard... Now to figure out the livewell problem![]()
We must have been typing at the same time....
