Here it is, my (new to me) rig. Now will someone teach me how to jig fish?

Hi Friends, After months on this site and collecting and sharing thoughts with all you great readers and contributors, I've got this rig ready to go. I've recieved so much great advice and helpful hints from you guys that I can't say enough thanks.

The rig is a 91' 295 Pro 19'4" hull with a 91' 175 FastStrike Johnson. It's got an OMC TM and Lowrance/Eagle sonar/gps electronics. I've re plumbed all the pumps and got all the leaks fixed in the livewell drains. It starts on the first pull and I haven't noticed any misses yet at speed. A 4 blade shooter is giving me a good hole shot. I haven't got to air her out yet, but I hope I can get 60 mph when she's dialed in.

Again, I have alot of respect for you Stratos owners who are willing to help a novice boater/fisherman like me up here in the Buckeye state. All my wet sanding and polishing has been worth while. Now, it's time to get the jignpig and whacky worms out. I really could use some lessons. Thanks alot, Limmy

Re: Here it is, my (stretch)

Lessons to Jig n pig....50lb braid, a 7-7'6" rod. Black trailer black jig in 3/8ths....Throw repeatedly till you feel a tick and then CROSS HIS EYES!! Dont take any other lures out with you. I have never ever fished and not been able to muster up a few jig bites.

But if you have no confidence you will never give it them time you need to to be successful IMO.

Just take the jig rod nothing else ir else you wont give it the shot ya need to!

Good luck with the new rig I just bought a 20I today so my javvy will be up shortly for sale after I clean detail and empty her out!
