    running my 185 today

Got a chance to get my boat out today and try my new sea star we installed last week. WOW! That is the best investment I have ever made for my boat. Couple of questions about my boat. Today ran 61 mph @5900 Rpms, I am running an 150 xr-6, 8inch JP 3 1/4" below pad with a 23 laser 2. Is this too high of rpms/ what would I gain (speed, handling, etc) going with a different prop. Everyone says the laser2 is crap for a 150. I was pretty pleased with that speed. It was me no gear just batteries and 1/2 tank of gas.

Will it be worth the 400 dollars! What areas will improve. I have a guy that has a tempest 23p A45 for sale it looks awesome. Would this prop used be worth 300$ or would I be better off going with a new tempest plus? Thanks for the help

The Laser's are crap for getting lift. Try to find a Tempest to try first, You'll like it!

23 will be too small.. go with a 24. I had that same set up..185 with XR6. I ran a 25 tempest in the winter and a 24 in the summer. I think the 24 wold be the way to go.. I did not have a jackplate but was running 63 gps
