does anyone have information/experience with a 2003 stratos 185. I am looking at one for 14,500. It has a 150 merc. xr6, 24v 65lb minnkota maxxum up front. would you say that is a good price?
thanks for any info.

I have no comment on price.....the boat was a very good model with virtually nothing to have to watch out for. It should make you a very good unit for many years to come.
Ditto. Same layout and hull as they still use on the new 285's with only minor changes to the console and livewells.![]()
I had an '04 285 and loved it. Rides good and has plenty of storage.

I had that exact boat and motor combo, Great combo. price may be a little too high, but that boat motor combo is great

hey, I bought the same boat off of Todd in 2004 for less than that. Besides that I like my boat. Mine was base model and I wish I had spent a little more for Hydraulic steering and few other things that I am having to add myself, but all in all a good boat
I have a 2002 Javelin 185 which is the same boat as the 2003 Stratos 185 (just different decals) and love it. It fishes bigger then an 18.5 foot boat and I have had zero problems with the boat. I have a Johnson 150 with a 23" renegade no jack plate and with just me no water in the wells and my regular tournament gear I have seen just a tick over 60 on GPS. The 65lb maxxum also does a pretty good job of moving it around.
