Hi, here in OZ we have the price from BRP and we will be selling for A$1500 more than the 225HP HO. Well worth it my opinion after running the 300HP a few weeks ago. The 250HO as everyone knows is basically the 300HP with a high speed gearbox.

I personally have a 225HP HO DI on my boat it it might be time to upgrade when they start shipping these down under in greater numbers. At present a few are here for the ski race guys that wer specially flown in by BRP.

Hi Inky, I am sorry if I mislead you, they had a 250HP HO on display on the Labsport skirace boat that has had it pictures on a fair few websites. The 300HP were running on a couple of boats in the water, but BRP was at pains to ask us not to post too much info on them because we were the first to run them, even B4 you guys and the offical public launch will be a Miami.

I do not think this we be spilling the beans too much but let me tell you the 300HP was very impressive in its torque and they were on big boats (by our standards at least) and I think they should be popular with you guys over there that have twin, triple and even quad rigs. The noise was a bit quieter I think compared to the 3.3L and I also think compared to the 250HP I have run it was a fair improvement in power over the 250HP. I have not seen any pricing for the 300HP, only 250HP HO, but as mentioned have not had a chance to run a 250HP HO, but the guys who have had the chance to say it is impressive outboard and it has won the last two ski races it has entered here. The big ski race is what we call the "Bridge to Bridge" in a few weeks and from what I have been told there will be a few 250HP HO running it that. Do not worry Liquid Nirvana is on top of this and he will let all BBCers know when the race is run and won.

Hey Huey,I've asked B4 to no avail.Will the 250HO be available in white? I'm hearing only blue right now.

Hi Papalambo, on my price list it only shows blue in 20 inch and 25 inch. It has the stars and stripes decals like the smaller HP but I am sorry no white. This is a price list just for Australia, so maybe the US market might get white just I can not confirm or deny that.

Hi David, the RRP is $28,464 plus installation and pre-delivery. I have sent you a PM with the "street" price.

Here they come STD with I-Command, SST Viper prop with a mininial cost to upgrade to a high performance prop like a Raker2, control box, cables and harness. In other words ready to fit to the back of a boat.
