anything bad about a 275 XL?

Nope. Super wide and stable boat with a ton of storage for a 17'r. The 115 will push it great and the E-TEC is extremely quiet and efficient. A great combo.

I have a 275/115 optimax and think its great.
Ride and handling awesome and very stable to fish out of. Having a few problems with setup, holeshot is very poor while topend is 51- 52 mph GPS light load.

heard really good things. Its probably one of the best 17 foot packages out there for the money and reliablility,
Keep in mind Its not for making super long runs in rough water but its great to fish out of and stable

I have a 275 . It is a very stable 17 ft boat because of the width. Best bang for the buck

Nothing too bad but just something to consider. I have a 07 275 with 115 optimax and the boat is so wide it won't fit thru my standard 1 car garage door. I have a 3 car garage so i can put it through the double door. This boat is super wide. It fishes much bigger than its length. I've had it since march and can't find a thing i don't like about it. The 115 is adequate I just wish it was rated for 150. My previous boat was a 95 201 with a 200hp and I still feel the need for speed but then I remind myself that i just spent 3.5 days at Lake Of the Ozarks and still have a half tank of gas.
