It was going to be a sweet deal I think. $6000 for nice boat loaded with newer electronics, 96 200 Johnson on a 94 201 Hull all sitting on a nice tandem Stratos trailer. I doubt I find one like that for that price anytime soon

Just picking on you Steve. Seriously I have seen his boat up close. Its in good shape for the year model and I know he has put alot of time in repairing some minor items needed repairing or replacing in the past!!

Wow....those don't make me feel so good, why are the mid 90's 201's selling so cheap? I thought they were a pretty descent boat?
most at dealers are selling in the 9-12000 range, they are a very good boat but not the speed demons that the newer ones are, as they are heavier and wider. some of the new ones with a 200 can do in the low 70's where most of the 93-97 ones are 70 with a light load tops, also there was a hull design difference in 92, 95, 99, and some changes with the 05-07 ones.
a 6000 one means the guy either had to sell or something like that, I am asking 7500 if I sell mine, as I am not a dealer and not making a mark up.

I think jet a marina has a 94 (I THINK) 201 for around 7500 you can see it on their site at jetamarina.com and no I dont work there I saw it the other day they are good people they will hook you up.
